VERTEX, a leading provider of environmental and engineering consulting services, is pleased to announce an upcoming 3-Day Basic Consultant Methamphetamine-affected Property Initial Training and 1-Day Refresher Training. The training, scheduled for January 30 to February 1, 2024, will be led by VERTEX’s Senior Industrial Hygienist, Alexander Johnsen, M.S., CIH.
Designed to provide comprehensive insights into the assessment, decontamination, and sampling of methamphetamine-affected properties in the State of Colorado, this training course is in accordance with the certification requirements under 6 CCR 1014-3.
Mr. Johnsen, a seasoned expert in the field with over ten years of experience in the AEC industry, brings his wealth of knowledge to this educational initiative. As a Certified Industrial Hygienist, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colorado and a Master of Science degree from the University of Denver. Additionally, Mr. Johnsen is a certified Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) methamphetamine instructor.
