Hudson Yards Redevelopment: Schedule Consulting Services

The Hudson Yards area has 25,800,000 sq. ft. of office space, 20,000 housing units, two million square feet of hotel space, 750-seat public school, one million sq. ft. of retail, and more than 20 acres of public open space.

The main component of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project is Hudson Yards, a mixed-use real estate development by Related Companies. Hudson Yards consists of 16 skyscrapers containing more than 12,700,000 sq. ft. of new office, residential, and retail space.  Among it is six million square feet of commercial office space, a 750,000 sq. ft. retail center with two levels of restaurants, cafes, markets and bars, a hotel, a cultural space, about 5,000 residences, a 750-seat school, and 14 acres of public open space.

VERTEX provided the following schedule consulting services:

• Coordinated design schedules of multiple design teams for each building component.
• Developed summary level master schedule for reporting to Management team
• Reviewed multiple baseline schedules with CM for various components of the Project.
• Scheduled phased occupancy by tenants
• Monitoring project status on monthly basis, including a peer review of the CM’s schedule, including a narrative report
