VERTEX Senior Managing Director, Forensics, Christopher D. Ling, AIA, has been recognized with two positions that will leverage his leadership and expertise to drive the industry forward.
On January 1, 2026, Christopher began a three-year term appointment on the American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Ethics Council (NEC). The NEC administers and interprets the AIA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and plays a central role in upholding the profession’s ethical standards nationwide. He will serve alongside fellow NEC members in reviewing ethical matters and supporting the Institute’s commitment to professional integrity. His term expires on December 31, 2028.
Christopher has also been added to the American Arbitration Association (AAA)’s roster of arbitrators. The AAA is a leading not‑for‑profit provider of alternative dispute resolution services dedicated to helping parties resolve disputes fairly and efficiently outside of traditional court proceedings. Inclusion on the AAA roster reflects Christopher’s extensive professional experience and completion of training, enabling him to serve as a neutral in AAA-administered arbitration cases.
“I’m honored to continue to serve the industry and to leverage my expertise to uphold our industry’s values,” Ling said. “I’m proud to help clients navigate their claims with greater clarity and confidence, and I look forward to applying my technical background in these positions.”
