At VERTEX, we care for our employees, and it is reflected in the benefits package offered to our team and their families. VERTEX has designed our benefit options to make a positive impact and offer support and stability in a meaningful way. Options in cost and plan design allow our employees to customize their benefit needs to meet their lifestyle and personal choices. Eligibility is extended to employees who work 30 hours or more per week. Eligible Dependents include spouses or domestic partners as well as children up to the age of 26.

Our health benefits begin from the date of hire for eligible employees. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision as well as health savings accounts, flexible spending accounts, and company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage.

VERTEX hires smart people who want to grow in their work and career, and we support that through our Lifetime of Learning Program (LOLP). At VERTEX, you will be offered an opportunity to participate in our Talent Management Program. Unlike some other learning programs, we will support you in developing a Career Development Plan unique to your own professional aspirations. You’ll strategically plot and drive your advancement along our Career Progression Map and along the way, will receive a variety of learning opportunities to advance your skills (through internal and external learning pathways) and professional development (through licensure or obtaining a company-funded advanced degree, such as an MS, MBA, JD, or PhD!) Our learning does not just stop at training classes, we also offer extensive opportunities to advance through on-the-job (OTJ) experiences. We also offer various types of mentorships to guide you along the way, from peer mentors, to technical skill mentors, to career planning mentors…and beyond!
A key support to employees is our People Managers. Because we know that being managed well will enhance your experience and development, our People Managers also receive on-going development. Through a unique manager training program, all our People Managers collaborate to learn, teach, and refresh their knowledge on topics, such as motivating employees, sharing feedback, setting effective goals, emotional intelligence, etc.
