On Thursday, May 9th, VERTEX’s Bill McConnell, Jay Cabello, Elizabeth Brogan and Lance VanDemark will be presenting at the ABA Fidelity & Surety Law Spring Conference in Austin, TX.
The conference, Complex Construction Issues Facing the Performing Surety, will have a heavy construction focus. The speakers will include many of the FSLC’s most distinguished professionals from companies, law firms, and consulting firms. Speakers will discuss how to read plans and specifications, how to develop and manage a project schedule, explain the utility of various project-related documents, and strategies to avoid legal pitfalls for the unwary on construction projects that have gone into default. The program chairs have designed a lineup of presentations that will educate younger professionals and seasoned practitioners regardless of the role they play for any particular claim.
