Replacing a century-old facility, this next-generation school is designed to provide innovative learning opportunities for students in grades K-5. With a focus on creating a purpose-built, net-zero-ready environment, the new building is set to revolutionize education in Wellesley.
VERTEX is serving as the Owner’s Project Manager for this incredible project. Our team’s expertise and commitment to excellence are ensuring that the new Kindergarten – 5th grade Hardy Elementary School exceeds all expectations.
The new school will house 365 students and boasts fantastic facilities like a STEAM Lab, Gymnasium, Art, Music, and Media Centers. Additionally, it will incorporate the Wellesley Public School’s Skills program, providing a specialized curriculum for students with autism spectrum disorder and other related challenges.
The building is designed to be net-zero ready, with an all-electric mechanical system and rooftop capacity for photovoltaic panels.
