VERTEX Canada (VTX Consulting Services Inc.) has been awarded a large remediation contract in Ottawa, Ontario. The project has recently kicked-off and is comprised of petroleum hydrocarbon (PHC) source removal, in-situ chemical oxidation and a bioremediation program to mitigate residual soil quality and shallow bedrock impacts found around an under an operating facility, as well as dissolved – phase PHC impacts, likely trending off-site. The client has been working with VTX on various projects for the past 23 years and has operations across Canada, parts of the USA and in the UK.
