Florida Broward County Bar Association recently announced its upcoming training on Commercial Roofing including topics of installation, warranty, and liability. VERTEX’s Kevin Maxwell, PE, PMP, will teach the CLE accredited course to the Construction section of the Broward County Bar Association on Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 at the BCBA Conference Center. The seminar will cover the topic of storm damage as well as codes and standards, terminology, modified bitumen, thermoplastic and thermoset roofing, moisture surveys, warranty information, and liability of the owner.
Mr. Kevin Maxwell, PE, PMP is an Assistant Vice President at VERTEX with over 15 years of experience in engineering, expert witness support, claims management, and risk assessment. Mr. Maxwell’s wide range of experience and professional engineering registrations enables him to opine on building costs and defects from both a damages and liability perspective for litigation cases utilizing a design and construction approach. Mr. Maxwell is an expert witness providing support to litigation cases and has acted as an Appraiser on several occasions
