As award season progresses throughout the AEC Industry we would like to honor and highlight the accomplishments of the teams and individuals at VERTEX Companies LLC, who have received accomplishments for their outstanding work this year.
We are proud to announce that Victoria Spina has received the Rising Star Award by Civil + Structural Engineer Magazine.
Victoria is a senior project manager at VERTEX and has over seven years of working experience in the environmental consulting industry. She has participated in multiple phases of site remediation including Phase I reporting, remedial investigations, and remedial actions. Her field work experience includes subsurface investigations, bedrock drilling, air monitoring, tank removal oversight, sub slab depressurization system inspections, and construction oversight in New York and New Jersey. She currently works on environmental pollution claims including claim investigations, pollution claims management, cause and origin inspections and investigations, and third party investigations. She has worked on pollution events involving petroleum, water intrusion matters, and emergent contaminants, including PFAS.
The winners of the Rising Star Award this year hold a diverse skill set and technical capabilities and have done outstanding work in their communities. They are already leaders and mentors in their firms, bringing new ideas, practices, and impacts beyond their technical capabilities. They come from all over North America and beyond–from Guam to New York, from Houston to Chicago. This year we have everyone from Presidents and Principals of firms to EIT Civil Engineers. This shows that no matter where you are in a company, you can be a Rising Star in this industry.
