As sustainability becomes a key focus in both public and private construction projects, meeting sustainability certification requirements is increasingly mandated. Green building projects require specialized expertise, systems, and precise record-keeping to meet these stringent standards. However, when a default occurs and a performance bond claim is filed on a sustainable project, the claim process can become more complicated due to the various certification standards and compliance demands throughout the project lifecycle. These factors can also drive up completion costs.
This webinar will explore practical strategies to balance performance obligations with sustainable building standards. Participants will gain insights into how these dual obligations—environmental certification and project performance—impact timelines, costs, and compliance. Understanding these elements is crucial for mitigating risk and ensuring successful project completion in today’s green construction landscape.
