VERTEX is performing Lender’s Construction Monitoring Services for the 48 East project, which will be a 33-story building located in Austin, Texas. There will be a total of 249 living units consisting of varying types of units. The building’s superstructure incorporates conventional reinforced concrete and post-tensioned reinforced concrete slabs, with the exterior walls consisting of a metal panel and aluminum curtain wall system. Levels One through Ten are comprised of an open parking structure, with various high-end amenities located throughout the building.
VERTEX is responsible for attendance of OAC meetings, review of Contractor’s payment applications and Owner’s draw requests, consulting on change orders, and monitoring the Contractor’s schedule adherence, progress, quality of workmanship and safety on-site.
