VERTEX performed a peer review and site inspection of Servimetal, a steel cutting and pipe manufacturing facility in Caguas, Puerto Rico. VERTEX reviewed a previous environmental site assessment for this property and conducted a site inspection to determine if the recommendations in the previous report (including the removal of hazardous waste and stained soils, and an evaluation of the site’s AST) were being implemented. VERTEX completed the investigation on an expedited time frame and provided recommendations regarding AST compliance and additional investigation.
