About this Project
LKB provided construction management services on this 3.7 mile long project which consisted of minor widening of the roadway surface to create an eleven foot travel lane and seven foot shoulder in each direction. Work included full depth asphalt pavement reconstruction, cold milling of existing asphalt and concrete pavement and asphalt resurfacing of the full roadway. It also included an improved drainage system with the installation of leaching basins interconnected by reinforced concrete pipe. New signage and pavement markings were also installed. Maintenance of traffic included a fully marked detour route to allow closing of the roadway in one direction to create the work zone. Coordination with local emergency and bus services were required.
