VERTEX served as the Surety’s Construction Manager for the $12 million odor control project at the Kailua Waste Water Treatment Plant. The purpose of this project is to implement odor improvements, meet regulatory requirements, reduce nuisance odors for neighbors, simplify odor system operation and maintenance, and improve operator safety. VERTEX’s role in this project was to provide construction coordination, construction monitoring, and cost control services. Additional services provided included attendance at progress meetings, site observations, schedule analysis, cost analysis, change order analysis, negotiation facilitation, and general project coordination and facilitation.
