VERTEX was retained as the general contractor on the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort lobby, restaurant, and veranda remodel. The 4-star, 400+-room hotel is located on the beach and provides guests with luxury and comfort, complete with a welcoming pool deck and pool bar.
VERTEX’s scope of work included all new finishes in the lobby and porte cochere, including high-end tile, marble, and woodwork. The ‘living wall’ by Ambius is a feature of the lobby. The Siren’s Table Restaurant, a $400,000 millwork package, features blended high-end, solid surface table and bar tops with rustic barn wood and oak woodwork. The layout includes a breakfast buffet, several private dining rooms, and a bar that extends onto a covered veranda with beautiful ocean vistas, glass handrails allowing for unobstructed views, and fire tables to attract evening crowds.
