Vice President, Real Estate Construction Management
Mr. Cole is a Vice President for VERTEX within the Real Estate Construction Management Group. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, Massachusetts. Though Mr. Cole is based out of VERTEX’s corporate offices in Weymouth, MA, the majority of his responsibilities include coordinating the group’s due diligence and monitoring representation service efforts on projects nationwide. Since joining VERTEX, he has managed monitoring projects totaling more than $650M in construction costs on behalf of various equity partners and lenders. Mr. Cole has also assisted on numerous distressed projects nationwide and performed owner’s project management services on other projects locally.
Mr. Cole has been in the design and construction industry since 2005 and has extensive experience in architectural design, project management, construction management and administration. Prior to his current role, he performed key roles for multiple architectural and technology firms constructing commercial, institutional, and multi-family residential projects being directly involved from contract award to closeout. He is a certified Project Management Professional and has an Unrestricted Massachusetts Construction Supervisor license. Mr. Cole’s extensive experience in the industry and attention to detail, along with his ability to effectively collaborate with all project stakeholders, allow him to provide beneficial construction consulting services to his clients.
