David BerryPG

Division Manager, Remediation

David Berry is a Professional Geologist with 25 years of experience in environmental consulting and construction services. He serves as Environmental Division Manager of Remediation in VERTEX’s Washington, D.C. office. Prior to joining VERTEX, he managed Construction Services and Environmental Services for Apex Companies, LLC’s Rockville, MD office. His diverse project experience includes environmental site assessment and characterization; soil and groundwater remediation; voluntary cleanup programs; insurance claim consulting; fuel station construction; aboveground/underground storage tank installations, removals, upgrades, and compliance; rehabilitation and maintenance of stormwater management systems; emergency response services; water resources; unexploded ordnance investigation and remediation; geophysical surveys; geotechnical investigations; risk assessments and risk-based closures; facility compliance; as well as health and safety oversight at various levels. He has extensive experience in subsurface investigation and remediation of sites impacted by petroleum, chlorinated solvents, and metals. He has worked for local, state, and federal government, industry, retail, and commercial real estate clients throughout the US, and is very experienced in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
