David Magarici Nahon is a Consultant for the Surety team at VERTEX, specializing in structural engineering, construction analysis, and risk assessment. With a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, David brings a strong technical background to his work in the surety and forensic engineering space.
At VERTEX, David leverages his expertise in structural assessments, construction oversight, and project analysis to support surety investigations, claims evaluations, and forensic engineering services. His experience in bridge and infrastructure design, load modeling, and structural evaluations allows him to provide detailed insights into project performance, cost analysis, and dispute resolution.
Prior to joining VERTEX, David worked as a Bridge Structural Engineer at AECOM Canada Ltd., where he was responsible for detailed structural design calculations, engineering assessments, and load analysis for new and existing infrastructure. He also gained hands-on construction experience as a Project Coordinator Co-op at Turner Construction Company, contributing to a multimillion-dollar renovation project for the Bank of Montreal’s temporary trading floors. David is fluent in English, Spanish, Hebrew.
