Ms. Hernandez has over five years of experience in Construction Management and more than eight years of experience in the Management Industry. Specific expertise includes Cost analysis during the Pre-construction process and construction contract administration. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Graduate Degree in Construction Management. As Project Manager for the surety team in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area, Ms. Hernandez, provides project management services for Vertex in the South-East Region. Her roles and responsibilities include managing surety files, claims investigations, completion contracting, construction management, financial analysis, field investigation activities, detailed schedule reviews, and composition of complex technical reports as well as cost-to-complete analysis. She also has a unique background in Construction Quality Assurance. Ms. Hernandez, has worked on a wide variety of Construction Projects types, including Federal, Aviation, Education, and Civil Infrastructure, in both traditional and design-build delivery methods.
