Grant Hoey has a strong background in construction management with an emphasis in quantum/damages, cost estimating, allocation, standard of care, planning, scheduling, design, standard of care and change management. Mr. Hoey has real world experience prior to joining VERTEX working in project management for multiple contractors, including JE Dunn Construction – one of the nation’s largest general contractors.
As a Vice President with VERTEX, Mr. Hoey has provided clients with construction claims consulting services, Owner’s representative services, cost estimation and allocation services, termination review, surety consulting, and other consulting services on hundreds of projects. His consulting responsibilities include: quantum/damages and entitlement opinions; analysis of construction claims; cost estimating opinions; standard of care opinions; analysis of construction defects and associated cost of repair; determination of parties responsible and allocation of damages; and, analysis of schedule impacts on projects.
