Natick’s New Kennedy Middle School is a 180,000 square foot school serving 900 students in grades 5-8. The Academic core and Arts wing of the building were completed this Fall and the district successfully transitioned to the new spaces on time for the start of classes on January 4, 2021.
The project now continues with the demolition of the old middle school, which will make way for the construction of the new gym wing, remaining parking, and multi-purpose turf field. Construction of the gym wing is scheduled to be complete for the start of the 2021-22 school year and the field will be complete by the end of 2022.
The project team of Ai3 Architects, Brait Builders and VERTEX has helped to lead the way for this successful project for the Town of Natick.
