The Vertex Companies Introduces Business Unit Structure and Builds Strategic Talent

The Vertex Companies, LLC is proud to announce a new leadership structure designed to accelerate growth, streamline operations, and enhance its position in the marketplace. 

The Firm has combined its five Practice Areas into three Business Units, grouping similar services into distinct areas:

  • US Disputes
  • US Advisory
  • International Disputes

As part of this change, a new Business Unit Leader role at the Senior Managing Director level has been established to oversee each Business Unit:

  • John Belbusti has been named Business Unit Leader, US Advisory
  • Robert A. Peterson, CCA has been named Business Unit Leader, US Disputes. 
  • Lee Barry has been named Business Unit Leader, International Disputes (previously EMEA).  

With the establishment of the Business Units, we are also building strategic talent.

VERTEX is pleased to announce the hiring of Jonathan (“Jon”) Wesoky as Senior Managing Director & Practice Area Leader, Project Advisory.

Jon brings a wealth of experience in project management, corporate operations, and professional services, with a proven track record in developing and implementing strategic initiatives and leading complex business operations. His impressive career includes executive roles at renowned organizations such as CBRE and Morgan Stanley, where he led change and integration initiatives achieving significant productivity and revenue improvements.

Jon holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science (BS), Operations Management from Case Western Reserve University.

As a Senior Managing Director and Practice Area Leader, Jon will lead VERTEX’s Project Advisory services to expand capabilities, enhance service offerings, and continue delivering outstanding results for clients across diverse sectors.

Earlier this year, VERTEX also announced the promotion of Dayna Anderson, CMA, CFE to Senior Managing Director & Practice Area Leader, Commercial Damages & Investigation.  

Dayna is a Certified Management Accountant and Certified Fraud Examiner. She has testified in federal court, as well as arbitration, related to economic damages. Dayna has also assisted counsel at mediation.

Dayna specializes in calculating damages related to forensic accounting, fraud investigations, breach of contract matters including lost profits, construction matters, insurance disputes, environmental disputes, and other commercial disputes.

Dayna has consulted on behalf of Fortune 500 companies and others in various industries, including financial institutions, renewable energy, oil and gas, hospitality, and manufacturing, among others.
