As infrastructure development accelerates across Africa, the legal and commercial frameworks supporting project delivery continue to evolve. The Africa Construction Law (ACL) Conference offers a dedicated forum for examining these changes and connecting professionals working across the construction and energy sectors.
The 6th edition of the conference will be held on 11-12 May, 2026 at The Wanderers Club in Johannesburg, South Africa. Under the theme “Construction in Transition: Building Africa’s Infrastructure for the Next Era,” the event will bring together practitioners, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore the trends shaping construction law and infrastructure across the continent.
VERTEX will participate as a Silver Sponsor, supporting the conference and engaging with a broad network of stakeholders involved in infrastructure, construction, and dispute resolution.
The program will feature two days of discussions addressing key issues such as project delivery, financing, risk allocation, and dispute resolution across Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone jurisdictions. Designed as a practitioner-led event, the conference emphasizes commercially relevant insights and real-world experience, alongside opportunities for meaningful networking.
