The subcontractor was defaulted by the general contractor Obligee for alleged delayed performance and deficient work. VERTEX was tasked with evaluating the propriety of the termination and the assessed damages. VERTEX authored an expert report in defense of the Surety and the bonded Principal, and ultimately provided expert testimony as to the general contractor’s standard of care, an analysis of project delays, and the assessment of damages.
