On behalf of the Surety, VERTEX is performing a takeover of all construction management activities for the completion of the new two-story high school building. The scope of work includes the completion of the building structure, Nichiha cement board siding, storefront glazing, FRP doors and windows, and a built-up asphalt roof. Interior finishes include the installation of VCT flooring, acoustical ceilings, and painted concrete walls. Site work includes electrical service, domestic fire and water services, storm and sanitary sewers, site lighting, asphalt parking lot, and pedestrian flatwork throughout the job site. VERTEX’s scope of services includes a cost-to-complete analysis, contract ratification of all subcontractors and vendors, full-time supervision of work being performed, construction coordination, preparation of RFI’s and submittals, construction buyout, scheduling, and other construction management services.
