On behalf of the Surety, VERTEX provided construction consulting services for all of the Principal’s projects bonded by the Surety in the State of Hawaii. The Principal’s Hawaii portfolio included ten projects, located on four different military facilities on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. The projects ranged in value between $600,000 and $22,000,000 and were of various types of construction. The majority of the projects were Design-Build delivery, with the Principal acting as the Prime General Contractor. Each of the projects was at different stages of completion, with several still in the design stage, while others were in closeout. VERTEX’s role in this project was to provide construction monitoring, attendance at progress meetings, site observations, schedule analysis, cost analysis, change order analysis, negotiation facilitation, and general project coordination.
