VERTEX performed Lender’s Construction Monitoring Services for the partial renovation of an existing two-story building to be used as a new ambulatory surgical center in Natick, Massachusetts. The project involved the interior renovation of approximately 15,040 SF of space on the first and second floors, with spaces that include a new reception and waiting area, post-anesthesia care units (PACU), outpatient operating rooms and multiple other pertinent support spaces. The project also included a new elevator and additional foundation and steelwork associated with adding new rooftop mechanical systems.
VERTEX was responsible for attendance of OAC meetings, review of Contractor’s payment applications and Owner’s draw requests, consulting on change orders, and monitoring the Contractor’s schedule adherence, progress, quality of workmanship and safety on-site.
