VERTEX worked on the civil and structural design of a new 15,000 sq. ft. retail building in Golden, Colorado. The work performed as part of this 1.6-acre site development included: the completion of environmental due diligence, site layout design, and construction oversight management for the new building. Also included in the scope of work were the associated exterior site improvements. During the development, the team was involved with managing communications during public hearings, Planning Commission meetings, and the City Council meeting. There were many unique design elements at the site including CLOMR-F & LOMR-F submittals and approvals, meeting the Golden Urban Renewal Requirements, construction around an existing tenant, coordination with the remediation efforts taking place on the site, and coordination of utilities with other users on the site.
