VERTEX’s subsidiary, Compass Project Management Inc. (Compass), served as the Owner’s Project Manager for the new Norwood Municipal Light Department project. The project included a new combined facility for Norwood Municipal Light Department with 40,000 square foot vehicle/equipment storage space and 22,000 square foot office space. The exterior scope included the complete replacement of the exterior shell including new roofing, metal panel siding, and windows. The interior scope included a complete “gut” renovation of the existing spaces followed by the installation of new mechanical systems throughout and fit-outs of new administrative office spaces, line crew support facilities, and customer service spaces. An elevator was added to the building to provide accessible access to the second-floor spaces.
