University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Charlton College of Business

Vertex served as Owner’s Project Manager for the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Charlton College of Business on the expansion to its existing facility, which was completed in 2004. The new space included classrooms, meeting spaces, an auditorium fully equipped with the latest digital media, and technology-enhanced areas. The Learning Pavilion is an architectural “gateway” providing a clear, accessible entry point to the inner academic campus from adjacent parking lots. The new state-of-the-art building included a pre-function reception area and an atrium lobby with an integral trading area. The second floor houses two breakout rooms with digital media, one graduate case study room, a group study alcove, and two 45-50 person technology-enhanced learning spaces. The third floor allows for four 6-8 person breakout rooms.
