Mr. Mora has over 15 years of experience in structural design engineering, general contracting and forensic engineering and is a Forensic Engineer for VERTEX’s Forensic Engineering Department. Mr. Mora is responsible for performing inspections and technical reports for the Chicago/Midwest forensic engineering division.
Mr. Mora’s wide range of professional and structural engineering experience includes the design of numerous heavy industrial, commercial, residential, and construction-support structures within the United States and abroad. Mr. Mora’s general contracting experience includes the rehabilitation of residential structures within the Chicagoland area. Mr. Mora has extensive experience with on-site fieldwork and has conducted condition assessments, testing, structural analysis, and structural repairs. Mr. Mora has inspected structures for structural adequacy, defects, including collapses, and compliance with contract documents, and has performed testing on façade access equipment. Mr. Mora has developed and assisted in the review of expert witness reports. Mr. Mora has professional experience in the design, construction, and repair of steel, concrete, and wood structures. Mr. Mora’s design experience includes serving as a responsible engineer in charge of the design of new structures and modification to existing structures as well as a collaborative team member on a variety of projects. Mr. Mora has performed structural engineering design on steel superstructures, equipment foundations, building foundations, low-rise residential structures and temporary structures used to support construction activities. |
