Mr. Murray has almost 6 years in structural design engineering and is a Forensic Engineer for VERTEX’s Forensic Engineering Department. Mr. Murray is responsible for performing inspections and generating technical reports for the Chicago/Midwest forensic engineering division.
Mr. Murray’s structural engineering experience includes the design and analysis of heavy industrial and commercial support structures nationwide. Mr. Murray also has several years of QA/QC experience in the oil refinery industry. Mr. Murray has professional experience in the design, analysis, and repair of steel, concrete and wood structures. Mr. Murray has performed structural engineering design on ceiling supports for automatic material handling systems at semiconductor facilities, tool install equipment foundations, a structural steel canopy consisting of special moment frames, design of space frame structural steel supports and connections for medical equipment in hospitals across the country, and a low rise bus maintenance masonry facility in the Pacific Northwest region. Mr. Murray has also been involved in inspections of open frame steel structures and concrete fireproofing at oil refinery sites in the Midwest.
