Mr. Mondo has over 29 years of experience in the consulting industry. He has provided consulting services related to emergency response, insurance loss control, environmental site assessments, indoor air quality and microbial assessments, field investigation and remedial planning activities, scheduling and coordination of subcontractor activities, collection of soil, groundwater, and air samples, and data analysis.

Currently Mr. Mondo serves as a Senior Technical Advisor at Vertex. Mr. Mondo is responsible for providing project/staff oversight for claim investigation and management services to various insurance clients including claim investigations, risk management, and underwriting services involving petroleum hydrocarbons, solvents, other chemicals, industrial hygiene and indoor air quality. These tasks include remedial site investigations, AST/UST system and generator release investigations, cause and origin determinations, delineation of contaminated media, development of remediation strategies and associated costs, preparation of remedial protocols, oversight and management of contractors, and cost and closure negotiations. Mr. Mondo also serves as senior technical advisor of staff for all air quality and industrial hygiene related insurance loss matters.  Mr. Mondo is responsible for managing daily operations, other environmental professionals, and budgetary tracking for actions conducted for several insurance clients.
