Heather H. Leech
Consultant III, Surety
As a Surety Claims Consultant for VERTEX, Ms. Leech is responsible for s responsible for all aspects of surety claims investigations and resolutions, including initial investigations, resolving payment bond claims and other contract claims, conducting relet processes, monitoring completion of work, as well as managing on-site activities in completion scenarios. Ms. Leech is a Certified Construction Document Technologist (CDT) and is currently pursuing her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Ms. Leech has a background in Commercial Construction, Interior Finishes, Project Management and Accounting. She has worked as an onsite owner’s representative for several large-scale mall expansion projects across the US. Ms. Leech also has exposure to the multi-family sector managing a portfolio of CAPEX projects as well as trade specific experience working with a Millwork General Contractor fabricating and installing high-end custom finishes. Along with full-cycle project management, Ms. Leech brings strong experience in accounting analytics, plan review and field operations.
