The project includes the construction of Phase 2 of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, a $198 Million project in Orlando, Florida. VERTEX was retained as a consultant for the surety who provided the performance bond on the complete electrical scope of work, including all electrical sub-scopes: Electrical, Lighting, Fire Alarm, Communications, Audio/Visual, and Electronic Security Safety and Security. The Principal’s original subcontract was valued at approximately $14M. VERTEX is serving as the surety’s construction consultant. VERTEX services included initial project assessment, schedule review, project monitoring, and acting as a liaison between the Obligee and Principal.
