The Westin Bonaventure Hotel is a 35-story building rising 367 feet high. With 1,358 rooms and 135 suites, it is the largest hotel in Los Angeles. The property was built between 1974 and 1977. John Portman was the architect and designer, and the hotel is one of the most photographed and filmed buildings in Los Angeles. Currently owned by FIT Investments, the property is undergoing one of the largest mechanical retrofits ever undertaken on the West Coast. VERTEX has been tasked with supporting the retrofit acting as the Owner’s Representative for the FIT group.
