VERTEX’s subsidiary, Compass Project Management Inc. (Compass), served as the Owner’s Project Manager for the Town of Westwood for the new Police Headquarters Building Project. The new Police Headquarters building was constructed on the same site as the existing Police Station and adjacent to the existing Town Hall. The project required significant site logistics planning to maintain operations for the busy Town Hall and Police Station, as well as provide as much parking for the public as possible while allowing the contractor the required amount of site area to build the new Police Headquarters building. The Project provided the Police Department with a Training Room, Emergency Operations Center, 24/7 Dispatch with dedicated support areas, Detention Wing with Sallyport and Evidence Bay, Locker/Fitness Area, Evidence Storage, Armory and Offices/Administration areas. The project included a new radio tower and associated technology to support communications with the Town and E-911 for neighboring communities.
