VERTEX was retained for delay, damages, and cost-of-repair analysis for a dispute between a developer and a modular home fabricator for the construction of a 31-cabin ski lodge community in Winter Park, Colorado. In connection with this engagement, VERTEX performed a delay analysis for three separate contracts, reviewed and computed affirmative damages for the developer (including direct and indirect construction costs, extended general conditions, increased financing costs, and lost profits), and prepared an estimate for work remaining to be completed. The matter was settled prior to arbitration.
