Blake Mayberry PE, CFEI

Forensic Engineer

Blake Mayberry is a Project Engineer at VERTEX. He is a licensed professional engineer specializing in structural engineering. While with The Vertex Companies, Mr. Mayberry has been involved in several fire cause and origin and damage assessment cases, and numerous structural cause and origin and damage assessment investigations of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities ranging from collapse of a low rise steel structure during erection to foundation wall and settlement issues. Mr. Mayberry has also investigated numerous roof coverings of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities to assess damage due to hailstone impact and high winds. Mr. Mayberry has assisted with Property Claim Assessments (PCAs), litigation files,and project/surety cases during his time with The Vertex Companies. Mr. Mayberry’s past stuctural engineering design experience includes working on numerous projects throughout the U.S. that have required the analysis of steel, concrete, masonry, or wood structural members required to resist hurricane force winds, earthquake induced loads, excessive snow loads, and either underhung or overhead crane induced loads. He has lead the coordination of architects, contractors, fabricators and other disciplines to help expedite the design and construction phases of projects and to provide practical and timely solutions to problems if they arose.
