His past projects have involved investigations of residential, commercial, and industrial facilities ranging from collapse of a low-rise steel structure during erection to foundation settlement to storm-related damage. Additionally, Mr. Mayberry has taken on additional responsibilities for The Vertex Companies, LLC in the account management role where he assists with the project intake, selection of the professional with the necessary expertise, budget preparation, and communications with the client.

In addition to his involvement in structural based projects, he has assisted with investigations that involved property condition assessments (PCAs), litigation files, and project/surety cases. During his time with The Vertex Companies, Mr. Mayberry has obtained a professional license as a certified fire and explosion investigator (CFEI), which has been utilized in determining the origin location of structural fires and assessment of the structural framing after a fire event.

Prior to joining The Vertex Companies in 2013, Mr. Mayberry was involved in structural engineering design where his expertise was utilized in projects located throughout the U.S. which required the analysis of steel, concrete, masonry, or wood structural members designed to resist hurricane-force winds, earthquake-induced loads, excessive snow loads, and loads induced by the manufacturing process within industrial facilities.
