Trey Payne has a strong background in construction management, with an emphasis in property loss, cost estimating, allocation, planning, scheduling, design, and change management. Mr. Payne has real-world experience prior to joining VERTEX working in estimating, construction management, and business management for multiple entities within the construction and property insurance claims industries.

Mr. Payne has provided clients with construction claims consulting services, Owner’s representative services, cost estimation and allocation, property insurance claims, project feasibility, standard of care, and other consulting services on hundreds of projects. His consulting responsibilities include: quantum/damages and entitlement opinions; analysis of construction claims; cost estimating opinions; standard of care opinions; analysis of construction defects and associated cost of repair; determination of parties responsible and allocation of damages; and analysis of schedule impacts on projects.
