Surety and Construction Claims Industry to Gather in Chicago July 14-16
As the world’s largest sporting event comes to the United States this summer, the Midwest Surety & Construction Claims Conference will adopt the same energy and excitement to while exploring the strategies, challenges, and regional differences shaping the industry.
The conference brings together surety and construction claims professionals for multi-day programming focused on emerging trends, risk considerations, and developments shaping complex project claims. Attendees will engage in industry discussions and networking opportunities, addressing key challenges and strategies within the field.
Beyond the conference program, attendees will have the opportunity to connect throughout the week through a curated lineup of social activities that showcase Chicago at its best.
Vertex is proud to serve as conference organizer of the event, and Senior Director Jonathan Hahn will serve as a co-chair.
Several members of the Vertex team will speak at the event:
- On July 15, Managing Consultants Gisel Hernandez and Trevor Soper will speak on the “Hidden Liability in Takeover Agreements” panel.
- On that same day, Senior Managing Director Frank Benway and Managing Director Joseph Castellano will participate in the “Subcontractor Default Insurance: Two Sports Played on the Same Field” panel discussion.
- On July 16, Director Michael King and Managing Consultant Tatum Rhyne will speak on “Power Play: Winning the Data Center Risk Game.”
- Chairman of the Board Bill McConnell will close the event with a state of the industry that afternoon.
