VERTEX is the Owner’s Project Manager for the $19 million Pembroke Community Center project. Christy J. Murphy, Project Executive, Suzanne Sarles, Project Manager, and Allyson Mahar, Project Manager, spearhead this endeavor, and are the first all-female OPM team we’ve seen in construction industry. The Pembroke Community Center, a sprawling 28,000 square-foot facility, is slated to become a vibrant hub of community life in Spring of 2024.

Allyson Mahar, the Project Manager on the team, provides invaluable strategic insights and direction. Her leadership ensures that the project aligns with the owner’s vision, and she plays a pivotal role in overseeing its successful execution.
Together, this team has not only exemplified excellence in construction leadership, but has also fostered a sense of unity and collaboration among the entire construction team and the Town of Pembroke. Because of their success, we are excited to announce that this same OPM team was chosen for a second project for the Town of Pembroke, slated to break ground later this year.
