On behalf of the Surety, VERTEX monitored and supplemented the completion contractor from Takeover Agreement to Final Completion. The project is located within the US Embassy compound in Old Town Prague, Czech Republic.
The scope of the project includes complete security upgrades, telecommunications work, HVAC upgrades, landscaping, and anti-terrorism force protection. Project monitoring involved document review, invoice controls, site visits, and weekly conference calls. The project is a Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) managed project, and VERTEX’s role involved being OBO’s primary point of contact for construction and contract administration on behalf of the Surety.
