Robert Goodwin

Executive Vice President, Forensics & Risk Management

Having earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts, with an emphasis in Earth and Geographical Studies and Hydrogeology, Mr. Goodwin began his career with VERTEX in 2004 and has developed a broad range of technical and management expertise.

As an Executive Vice President within VERTEX’s Claims, Disputes and Forensic Group, Mr. Goodwin manages the Forensic Division nationwide. More specifically, Mr. Goodwin manages dozens of VERTEX’s employees, directs daily operations, directs business development, and is responsible for the overall strategic growth of VERTEX’s technical services supporting the insurance and legal industries.

Annually, the Forensic Group completes thousands of projects including complex insurance claims, litigation matters, and underwriting assignments requiring architectural, engineering, construction, fire investigation, and environmental expertise.
