Mr. O’Regan has over seven years of experience in civil/structural engineering design and construction with a focus on forensic investigations over the past four years. Connor began has a strong background in heavy civil construction in addition to residential and commercial building systems. Connor has completed over 100 forensic claim investigations in MA, CT, NY, ME, and VT. Investigations have included assessing structural members, roof systems, building envelope, and foundations. He has applied his knowledge as a member of the forensic engineering division at Vertex to provide clients with structural damage assessments, cause and origin of events, and code compliant repair and design recommendations for residential and commercial applications.
In addition to his role in forensic claims, Mr. O’Regan is an integral member of the construction loss control service for Vertex, which provides plan review reports, construction quality control site visits, and health and safety site visits at construction sites nationwide. As part of the service, he has performed geotechnical report reviews and construction quality control site visits for high-rise construction and multi-family housing projects. Mr. O’Regan also has experience working for a heavy civil general contractor where he served as the project engineer and worked on two high profile marine heavy civil construction projects prior to joining the Vertex team.
