On Thursday, April 14, 2022, the Town of Middleborough celebrated the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Rededication of the Wayne M. Caron Auditorium for the new Middleborough High School.
Two years and one month after the beginning of construction, the new Middleborough High School was substantially complete allowing for MHS to move over April vacation 2021. Final completion is scheduled for June of 2022.
The new school embodies an innovative, 21st-century learning experience. The building consists of 166,000 SF with three wings and a campus with an all-new, on-site athletic facility and stadium.
“Working with such a supportive Town and the dedicated staff at Middleborough HS has made this project special,” said Christy Murphy, Project Executive, Compass Project Management.
“We are very pleased with the work of the design, management, and construction teams, and the end result is a truly lovely and very useful facility that should make the town proud,” said Rob Desrosiers, Chair of the High School Building Committee.
