Shawn HardyPE

Shawn Hardy is a Senior Forensic Engineer and Division Manager for VERTEX’s South Region where he oversees a group of forensic engineers providing expert investigation services for property (commercial and personal) and bad faith claims, construction defect claims, and builder’s risk. He has more than 20 years of experience in forensic and environmental investigations. Mr. Hardy is a licensed professional engineer in three states.

Mr. Hardy’s past expertise includes many years working as a Sr. Project Manager for a large global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm. In this capacity, he conducted numerous risk and environmental assessments in the U.S. and Europe related to multi-billon dollar portfolio property transactions, construction defects related to building envelope failures, and environmental liability.
