As a Project Management consultant for the surety team in Seattle, WA, Mr. Gorman offers over eight years of experience and skills (project scheduling, construction monitoring, budget control, construction project consulting, etc.). Mr. Gorman has run a variety of projects from luxury CapEx to ground-up mid-rise multifamily projects and has a great understanding of the local market including working closely with WA Counties & Municipalities.
Additional experience includes pre-construction, start-up, and close-out. Estimate preparation: Send out RFP’s, compile, and review sub-bids, write and/or review bid summaries, and Review and manage the project schedule with the project Superintendent. Oversight of the Project Engineers’ (PE’s) duties including submittal processing, RFI, and COR preparation. Prepare and/or review Change Order Requests (COR’s) prior to submittal to the Owner. Negotiate and write subcontractor change orders. Reviews subcontractor invoices and billings for approval. Assist in the preparation of owner-pay applications and project financials.
