VERTEX provided oversight on the surety’s behalf for the construction of an 84-Inch Water Line along CenterPoint Energy Northbelt Corridor (Project 25C). The scope of the project includes the construction of approximately 3,600 LF of an 84-inch steel water pipe by open cut and approximately 200 LF by trenchless (tunnel) methods, including associated manholes and appurtenances. VERTEX’s scope of services included cost analysis, construction relet, attending Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) meetings, monitoring construction progress, reviewing contractor’s schedule of values, processing payment, project closeout, and other construction administration services.
